2mm (N) Layouts

Calderdale

This extensive 2mm layout represents the journey from Bradford Exchange to Halifax in the 1960's and is currently under construction.  When complete it will be 30ft x 14ft and will require 8 operators, so there is plenty of room for volunteers!

Jesmon River Railroad

Inspired by two bridges crossing each other in the Rockies, this innovative layout is a trompe d'oel as trains appear from one tunnel to disappear into the next.  It comprises a single track main line running multiple trains controlled electronically to avoid collisions.  Long trains hauled by multiple locos in a sweeping landscape is the name of the game here.
