Our Layouts

KMRC has layouts in most scales, from 2mm (N gauge) to 'G' Scale, normally the preserve of the garden railway.  The layouts are all privately owned, by individuals in some historical cases, or more usually, by a group of members.

Participation in construction and/or operation is actively encouraged, and shares do become available for purchase from time to time for individuals who wish to wish to engage in closer participation.

Many layout groups welcome members bringing their own stock to run on open days and designated operating evenings.
